Hi Ahmed , I want two translation to be added in access quran.

1: Literal Translation 2: QXP Translation.

If its possible, then i will get you the excell files for this.

Salam mate

I have to resolve the technical issue forst of which way should I go, keep adding translations manually (a lot of work), or automate the process through one hell of a brilliant idea, I need some time to think about it, your ideas will be appreciated too

Salam

Hello Q&S

I have finished the new version of Access Quran where you can manage your own translation

here is the version for now and later on I will explain the changes, this is the open source version, i.e. the mdb file if you would like to modify it yourself

http://free-islam.com/downloads/AccessQuran_V3_0_OpenSource.zip

Please ask me any question that you need to clarify

Cheers

No worries, a lot of work though, as you can see that I have added 30 fields to the Quran table where the translation will be stored, this meant that I have to redesign whatever I did before

you can only add up to 30 translations

the issue with the button that disappears when you use Vista, i believe it is relating to the screen font size and resolution, I have see it before with one of my other programs and it turned to be exactly as I suggested

I have also redesigned the Export/Import Module as you suggested in the past by combining it with the restor module, to free the button that I used for the translations management

you can also see with the open code that I never use any quries, all my data fetching is hard coded within the VBA code

cheers

Hi Ahmed,

How are you, I was buzy with my personal work. Hope you are doing good.

I have a question, I was going through the data of Access Quran file.
You have a table called QWords, Which contains the root words for all Quranic words.

How did you manage to get this? Are all the root words accurate?

Salam mate

I am good alhamdullelah, how about you?

I did not create that field, it was there in the data files you passed on first, it is highly accurate but not 100% accurate

Salam
